This original painting celebrates the great vintage tattoo designs of the 1940s and 1950s, focusing mainly on the work of Sailor Jerry from Honolulu. This one shows the things that can get a sailor into trouble - women, drinks and fun!!! A great image of a sexy girl sitting in a martini glass with a skull and cross bone below it. It is hand painted on a wood panel, then given a weathering treatment to give it that aged, vintage look. It looks like it could have been hanging in his tattoo shop since the 1940s!
This painting is made to order, so please allow 2 weeks for completion.
It measures 13"x17" including the aged wood frame and comes with wire on the back for your hanging pleasure. Like most of our wood items, these are made of recycled lumber yard cut-offs, meaning eco-friendly artwork for your walls. Because each of these is hand painted, no two are alike!!
Hand made on Taboo Island, USA.
