La Cienega Los Angeles, CA These vintage graphics from a matchbook cover were used by the Islander restaurant in the 1960s.  The Islander was another of the quintessential tiki bars of Southern California from the 1950s and 1960s.  It was a classic A-frame elevated structure, and they even had real rickshaws which took you from the valet, through a lagoon, to the front door.
