Pacific Coast Highway Long Beach, CA These wonderful 1960s matchbook cover graphics show the original sign of the Outrigger Inn Motor Hotel in Long Beach, California.  It had a Polynesian A-frame structure, many tikis, a lush garden in the center courtyard including a waterfall, and a Mr. C’s restaurant featuring Polynesian, Cantonese and American food.  The hotel still exists, but has been extensively remodeled.
